Our objective is the integral development and realisation of value-preserving retail properties – the unrivalled tangible foundation of urban life.

Carrier of urbanity in the course of time
While for decades retail was almost the only carrier of urbanity, the beginning of online sales, experts call the year 2014, heralded a turning point for urban development.
The corona era has made this even clearer and more visible: With the relocation of the local in-stores sales to the Internet, the desertification of inner cities began. However, this also made clear that this shift to the Internet, accelerated by the corona season, was not the actual reason for the desertification of the inner cities, but only the trigger. The real reason for desertification is the elimination of diversity in our inner cities. And this development began already in the 60s. How? By a silent relocation of countless usage modules, such as housing, leisure, schools, cultural institutions, service workplaces, etc. out of the inner city center.
The so-called "de-diversity" of the inner cities ultimately led to their desertification.
The insight from this development is that one must actually be grateful to online retail, because this has revealed the real mishap of development in our inner cities and we are now all called upon to work on the actual causes.
This means:
Diversity must return to the inner cities: housing, gastronomy, cultural institutions, schools - because trade alone is no longer a carrier of urbanity.

The essential factor of our activities are people. For us, people are always at the centre of what we do. Because only we people determine how life for us will develop in the centres of our cities.
