In the industrial estate (Saarstraße), two ailing trading companies, a REWE hypermarket and an ALDI discount store, which can no longer be operated economically at the current locations, have been relocated. The relocation takes place further into the city, more or less at the transition from the pure commercial area structure to the edge of the beginning, urban urban structure.
Significant contribution to urban development
The new, common location is a building plot of a fallow, partially contaminated filling area, on the one hand overgrown for decades and inaccessible, on the other hand in the best suburban location.
